Although there is potentially a cash benefit (profits available to re invest in public services etc), There is a potentially much darker side to the "Big Government"

With Labours grand plan to take all of the major utilities back into state ownership, in terms of Union power and any future threat of strike action, what risk is there of a return to the 1970's with national strikes.
There is no doubt that the Unions would actually be the people in charge with the ability to stop the country in it's tracks at the first sign of discord. Читать дальше...

I certainly don't think it's just about ticket prices. If the competition has lost its appeal then cutting the ticket prices won't really make much difference.

Seems like its shaping up to be a familiar year on the recruitment front. We can see clear weaknesses in certain positions. We get linked with players, then don't sign them. As the off season goes on, the calibre of players we get linked with drops.

In the end we will probably sign somebody just because we have to, likely a borderline starter in the NRL whose club wants to move them on and they don't have many other options.

To prove a point yesterday we were informed that poverty was not the fault of the government, that the initial increase in NI stated by Johnson would save the majority of workers £500 which was disputed by the conservatives and when pointed out to the PM he still insisted that the £500 was correct. Firstly Greece are above Ireland? Based on What? GB do not see to exist nor impact on the rankings, Scotland who finished behind Ireland are ahead of Greece, Wales who qualified for the RLWC 2021 ahead of Ireland and Scotland are behind those two teams....and Greece and then....Lebanon, who are little more than Tonga B (AKA Australia d)....

I still love the Challenge Cup, pity it's not more popular, but that's just the way it is. Like the Caraboa Cup in football, it will really only interest the fans of the smaller clubs....like me !

Evening all.
Had a few week off with not trying to get involved in anything, any discussions, any arguments, any listening or reading to anybody talking absolute tripe.
Still very bitter about some things. I guess things will not probably hit home till the season starts, or at least the friendlies.

Up to now we have sold less than 800 season tickets. Can we really go any lower? What has happened to our once great club.
