Sargsyan: Armenia has achieved significant success over 25 years of its independence
Serzh Sargsyan, Armenian president, speaking at the parade dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Armenia’s independence, said that the country has achieved significant success over 25 years of its independence.
He is quoted by his press office as saying that the nation remains stuck to the choice it has made 25 years ago.
Sargsyan stressed that freedom and independence needs protection not only from outside threats. He said Armenian citizens should be free, since a free person and a free society act far more effectively, and not free people can create plenty, but not happiness.
In his words, Armenia has achieved considerable success over the past 25 years.
He thinks that things are going in the right direction despite some mistakes. He is convinced that the only way to reach progress is to work hard.
Sargsyan congratulated all Armenians across the world praising cooperation among Armenia, Artsakh (Karabakh) and Armenian communities worldwide.
He also congratulated Armenia’s ethnic minorities, who equally participate in strengthening the country’s defense. -0---
