An unnamed "senior member" of the Swedish LGBT community and former manager of Stockholm Pride has been accused of buying sex from an underage boy. The allegations come in the wake of images being circulated on social media purporting to show screenshots of money transfers to the boy from the man's telephone.

For the first time since the early 1960s, life expectancy in the United States has fallen for a second year in a row. Brussels (dpa) - The European Commission has cleared Lufthansa‘s partial takeover of its insolvent rival Air Berlin, as long as the German aviation giant sticks to concessions aimed at avoiding excessive market dominance. In October, Lufthansa made a 210-million-euro (249-million-euro) bid for the partial takeover of Germany‘s second-biggest carrier, which filed for insolvency in August. Shares of Paychex Inc. fell 1.7% in premarket trade, after a slight beat of fiscal second-quarter profit revenue expectations was offset by a downbeat profit outlook. Net income for the quarter to Nov. 30 increased to $217.0 million, or 60 cents a share, from $202.1 million, or 56 cents a share, in the same period a year ago. Excluding non-recurring items, adjusted earnings per share came to 59 cents, in line with the FactSet consensus. About 20 people died Thursday when a fire broke out in a building that houses a fitness center in the South Korean city of Jecheon. The National Fire Agency said most of the victims were killed in a sauna after the fire started in a vehicle and swept throughout the eight story building, trapping many people inside.
