Erosion forces demolition of famous Cape Cod clam shack
Erosion has forced authorities to demolish a famous clam shack in Cape Cod, Massachusetts in the USA.
Drone footage filmed earlier this week showed Liam's Clam Shack on Nauset Beach sitting precariously on a severely eroded sand dune.
The shack was demolished shortly after this video was filmed.
The nor'easter in early March destroyed some 30 feet of dune that Liam's sat on, making it unsafe
Liam's, which has been under the same ownership since 1990, was famous for its onion rings and was seen as an local institution.
