Two women’s bantamweights will try get back in the win column at UFC 250, as Ketlen Vieira will meet Marion Reneau.
Ketlen Vieira will be hoping to get back in the win column at UFC 250 later this year, as she’s slated to take on fellow ranked bantamweight Marion Reneau.
MMA Junkie first reported the news on Tuesday, though the UFC is yet to make an official announcement. This is the first fight that has been targeted to take place at the upcoming UFC 250 card.
Vieira (10-1) suffered her first professional loss in her last outing, losing by first round knockout to Irene Aldana at UFC 245. The 28-year-old won her first four UFC fights before that loss, picking up victories over former title challengers Cat Zingano and Sara McMann.
Reneau (9-5-1) is hoping to get back in the win column after a disappointing last year and a half. One of the oldest women on the UFC roster at 42 years old, Reneau has suffered consecutive decision losses in her last two fights to Zingano and Yana Kunitskaya. Her last win was almost two years ago, a second round submission over McMann.
UFC 250 takes place on May 9th at the Ginásio do Ibirapuera in Sao Paulo, Brazil. No other fights have yet been announced for the card.
