UFC 222: Holloway vs. Edgar poster revealed, Struve vs. Arlovski listed as co-main event
Check out the official fight poster for UFC 222: Holloway vs. Edgar.
The UFC featherweight championship will be on the line on March 3rd, as reigning 145-pound king Max Holloway takes on former lightweight champion and longtime featherweight contender Frankie Edgar at UFC 222.
This fight was supposed to be at UFC 218, but Edgar pulled out due to injury, and was replaced by Jose Aldo, the only man to defeat “The Answer” at featherweight. For the second time in as many fights, the Hawaiian stopped Aldo in the third-round, and it didn’t take too long for Holloway vs. Edgar to be rescheduled.
For curious minds who want to see what the official poster looks like, here’s what the UFC just released.

Perhaps what’s most interesting about the poster isn’t the design, but the apparent decision to make a heavyweight matchup between Stefan Struve and Andrei Arlovski the co-main event. Struve is 3-4 in his last seven, including a TKO loss to Alexander Volkov at UFC Rotterdam back in September. Arlovski just snapped a five-fight losing skid by beating Junior Albini via unanimous decision at last November’s UFC Norfolk show.
UFC 222 takes place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The current fight card is below:
Max Holloway vs. Frankie Edgar
Stefan Struve vs. Andrei Arlovski
C.B. Dollaway vs. Hector Lombard
Mackenzie Dern vs. Ashley Yoder
Cat Zingano vs. Ketlen Vieira
Bryan Caraway vs. Cody Stamann
Sean O’Malley vs. Andre Soukhamthath
Jordan Johnson vs. Adam Milstead
