Minor Leaguers Win Request to Expand Lawsuit Against Major League Baseball
A federal magistrate judge in San Francisco on Tuesday approved the request of a group of minor-league players to include a much larger class of players in its labor lawsuit against Major League Baseball. The number of plaintiffs ballooned from several dozen to about 10,000, according to trade publication Baseball America.
