Premier League fantasy football: Marcus Rashford is within touching distance of being the Player of the Season
It hasn’t exactly been the best season so far for Manchester United, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side currently battling it out just to stay in contention for a top four finish.
But the recent form of Marcus Rashford is certainly one of the few highlights of their campaign, with the youngster in the midst of a rich goal-scoring run.

Following Game Week 20, Rashford now has 14 goals to his name as well as four assists — putting him just behind Jamie Vardy in the Premier League’s top scorers tally.
But it’s Rashy’s Dream Team haul that we’re especially interested in, with his current total of 186 points putting him just a single point behind Raheem Sterling in the top spot.
Very impressive stuff, considering the competition he’s up against.
Rashford is currently just ahead of Sadio Mane, Harry Kane and Vardy on our leader board, and it’s no fluke that he’s besting them all at this stage.
The 22-year-old currently has the most amount of Star Man awards of anyone on Dream Team with nine — and that means he’s been one of the game’s most consistent performers.
That’s right, he’s even more reliable than the likes of Sterling, Mane and Mo Salah.
Of course, Rashford is just one of a handful of surprise Dream Team stars this season.
The recent goals of Danny Ings sees the Southampton striker boast 129 points at the moment, while the all round excellence of Adama Traore means the Wolves winger is just outside of our current top 10.
Then there’s the awesome rise of Tammy Abraham, who’s early-season flourish means he’s being picked by over 28% of you.
But it’s Rashford who’s the flavour of the month right now and considering how Sterling has failed to pick up any points in Man City’s last five matches, we could soon see the United forward overtake him.
