Jury unable to reach verdict in triple slaying trial
FORT WAYNE, Ind. — A jury has failed to reach a verdict in the triple slaying trial of a 19-year-old Fort Wayne man.
The (Fort Wayne) Journal-Gazette reports (http://bit.ly/2g3Qytd) the jury deliberated for more than eight hours Thursday before telling the judge they couldn’t reach a verdict in the trial of Artavius Richards.
Prosecutors say the Feb. 24 slayings were a robbery gone wrong. Police say another man, Darrell McDaniel, shot one man and Richards fired 15 rounds, killing two others.
