In photos: The fanciest cars and best scenes from Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance
More than 200 of the world’s finest classic, vintage and antique cars were displayed on the 18th fairway of the famed Monterey Peninsula golf course and judged over the weekend as part of the most prestigious automobile concours.
Every entrant in The Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance has to be invited to display a car and thousands of enthusiasts paid the $375 entrance fee to see the cars.
The winner of Best of Show was a 1936 Lancia Astura Cabriolet, but other highlights include the impressive row of Ford GT40s and race car legend Jackie Stewart appearing in a 1966 Ferrari 330 P4 Drogo Spyder.
In addition to the show, there is also an auction, where the total lot sells for hundreds of millions of dollars.
Here are some of the best scenes from the weekend.
