Canada's economy shed 35,700 jobs last month - almost quadruple economists' expectations. But that's mostly on the back of a sharp drop in public administration work after the sector posted big gains during the federal election campaign. A notable bright spot in the data was the construction industry, where more than 15,000 jobs were created.
