Artur Aleksanyan named three-time world champion
Artur Aleksanyan of Armenia won his third world champion’s title in the Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship in Paris, France.
The winner of the 2016 Rio Olympics earned gold after beating Russia’s Musa Yevlov 3-1 in the final round.
In the quarter finals, Aleksanyan gained advantage over Rustam Asakalov of Uzbekistan (8-0). He continued his race for success also in the semi-finals, defeating Georgia’s Revazi Nadareishvili 6-2.
