Air Force B-52 bombers making temporary return to Washington facility
Originally constructed by the U.S. Air Force as Larson Air Force Base in the late 1940s, the air base in Moses Lake, Wash., became a Strategic Air Command base in 1960, hosting long-range B-52s and KC-135 tankers until its closure in 1966.
