Deadly childhood encephalitis a 'major moral challenge'
One in 20 Australian children who contract Encephalitis die from the disease with one in four left with serious brain damage, landmark new research shows.
The study's lead researcher Dr Philip Britton, from the University of Sydney, said the devastating condition, inflammation of the brain tissue, was a "major moral challenge".
