Alumni association treasurer accused of taking over $10K
CABOT, Vt. (AP) — The treasurer of a Vermont high school alumni association has been accused of taking over $10,000 from its account over several months for personal expenses.
Kimberley Dwyer, of Lyndonville, was issued a citation on Monday and is scheduled to appear in Washington County Superior Court on June 15. She's the treasurer of the Cabot High School Alumni Association.
Police allege the 49-year-old Dwyer used a debit card for the association's account to make the withdrawals.
It wasn't immediately known if Dwyer had an attorney; a phone message was left seeking comment.
