Native American education committee pulls back due to budget
LOS ALAMOS, N.M. (AP) — A committee focused on helping the Los Alamos School Board help the district's Native American population succeed academically will scale back its requests in light of decreases in state funding.
The LAPS Title VII Parent Advisory Committee presented findings to the school board about what the district could be doing to help Native American students.
