Boy, 15, accused of social media threat against school
LINDEN, N.J. (AP) — Police have arrested a 15-year-old who they say is responsible for a social media threat against Linden High School.
Police say they were alerted on Wednesday night to a picture that showed a boy holding what appeared to be a handgun warning students not to go to school on Thursday.
Police charged the boy with terroristic threats.
Linden High School is open and extra security is in place as a precaution.
The boy's name has not been released because he is a juvenile.
