A Utah junior high student says an armed 15-year-old boy entered a science classroom and fired a shot into the ceiling before a woman grabbed the shotgun he held, threw it down and pulled him into a hallway.
Utah police say a 15-year-old boy brought a shotgun and handgun to his junior high school and fired at least one found before his own parents confronted him in a hallway and took the weapons away.

Ross says both parents found the student in a hallway, disarmed him and held him until a police officer near the school arrived and took him into custody.
Police and school officials had no immediate details about the student's motivation or the identity of the family.
A school district spokesman says a student who fired a shot into the ceiling of a Utah middle school Thursday morning is still inside the school being questioned by police.
Edwards say the parent managed to detain the student until a police officer down the street arrived and took custody of the student.
