University of Missouri athletics gets $1.4M donation
COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) — The University of Missouri's Department of Intercollegiate Athletics has received $1.4 million for its proposed plan to build a new south end zone facility at its stadium.
The Columbia Missourian (http://bit.ly/2gL2ikq ) reports the funds are from an anonymous donor. The university has been accepting contributions for the new facility for several months.
The university has raised $68.4 million for the project, which is still in the planning and development stages. The goal is to raise $75 million.
