The Latest: Facebook suspended account during standoff
Baltimore County police say they asked Facebook to suspend a woman's Facebook and Instagram accounts during a standoff because people commenting on videos of the law enforcement operation were encouraging her to not comply with orders from officers.
Authorities say an armed black woman fatally shot during a standoff with police had previously refused to get out of her car during a traffic stop in March, saying officers would have to "murder" her.
The cardboard "plates" said: "Free Traveler" and "Any Government official who compromises this pursuit of happiness and right to travel will be held criminally responsible and fined, as this is a natural right and freedom."
Baltimore County police say a woman who pointed a gun at police serving arrest warrants at her apartment was shot and killed by officers in a shooting that also left a 5-year-old boy wounded.
According to police, three officers went to Gaines' apartment in Randallstown around 9:20 a.m. to serve arrest warrants on her and a man.
