Teen charged with bring gun to school
HAINES CITY, Fla. (AP) — Authorities say a central Florida teen is facing felony charges after bringing a gun to his middle school.
The Lakeland Ledger (http://goo.gl/8s2A88) reports that the 15-year-old boy was charged Wednesday with possession of a firearm on school property and carrying a concealed weapon.
Haines City Assistant Police Chief Brian McNulty says officers arrested the Boone Middle School eighth-grader that morning after finding a loaded .380-caliber firearm in his bag. School administrators had received a call about a student with a weapon on campus.
