Charles Barkley still not on Warriors’ bandwagon
The Warriors will strut into Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Wednesday with a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven series, having beaten the Cavaliers by an average of 24 points per game. [...] Charles Barkley still hasn’t booked his spot on the Warriors’ bandwagon. “They’ve played only two games, and y’all have written off the Cavs already,” Barkley said on a conference call to promote next month’s American Century Championship golf tournament in Lake Tahoe. The Hall of Famer did offer support to Stephen Curry, saying that the Warriors’ point guard made the right decision in backing out of the Olympics and that he has earned the respect of the league’s other stars. Barkley said he went to Topgolf while the TNT crew was covering the Western Conference semifinals in Oklahoma City and was alerted that he just missed a three-hour session by Curry and Andre Iguodala. The Warriors’ sixth man is scheduled to play in the American Century Championship.
