Board of Supervisors to vote on president as early as Tuesday
New president will preside over board’s colorful meetings. The San Francisco Board of Supervisors could choose their next leader as soon as Tuesday, after outgoing president David Chiu on Wednesday placed the question on the board’s November 18 agenda. Chiu is heading to Sacramento Dec. 1, after winning a seat in the state Assembly in a hard-fought campaign against fellow supervisor David Campos.
