OU Board of Regents to consider university tuition hikes
The agenda for the OU Board of Regents Meeting shows that Rogers State University is requesting tuition and mandatory fee increase of 4.98 percent for resident students, and 4.18 percent for nonresident students.
Under a bill approved two years later, the combined average of resident tuition and fees at OU and Oklahoma State University must remain less than the combined average of other state-supported schools in the Big 12 Conference.
Among the other items being considered by the OU Regents on Wednesday is a proposal to construct two above-ground storm shelters at Couch Center and Walker Center, where student dormitories are located, and a new physics and astronomy building.
