Pavement work could hamper traffic in Utica area
UTICA, Neb. (AP) — A pavement project is scheduled to begin this week on L-80F in the Utica area of Seward County.
The Nebraska Roads Department says workers will be doing a chip seal from Reference Post 0 to Reference Post 5.7 south of Utica. The department says chip seal is an application of an asphalt binder to a roadway, followed by an aggregate.
A pilot vehicle and flaggers will be deployed to control traffic, which will be reduced to one lane with a reduced speed limit of 45 mph.
The work is expected to take two days.
