Gear review: Jetboil MiniMo Cooking System
With new freeze-dried and packaged food that doesn’t taste like Styrofoam, great recipes and ideas available online, and smaller cooking systems, you may just be volunteering to be the cook at your campsite.
The Jetboil MiniMo makes mealtime even easier, with the ability to taper a rolling boil down to a simmer (and keep it there consistently, in conditions down to 20 degrees Fahrenheit).
The stove includes an insulating drink-through lid and a measuring cup, allows for a lower spoon angle for easier eating from the cup, and provides for sideways burner storage inside the cooking cup to minimize pack space — which is something that even car campers can get behind.
Smart design elements include rubberized handles and a skirt cover that doubles as a measuring cup.
