PHILADELPHIA (AP) — A man is in critical condition after he was shot outside a charter school in Philadelphia. Police heard the gunshots and found the 54-year-old on the ground on North American Street early Thursday. His name has not been released. Police believe the gunman was chasing the victim.

(AP) — A 55-year-old Massachusetts woman is suing the Boston Archdiocese and her former teacher at a Catholic high school in Framingham over claims of sexual abuse dating back to the 1970s. The suit states that Ryszewski arranged to have the victim live with her during the woman's freshman year and allegedly "engaged in continuous acts of sex abuse and rape" during that time.
