Obama to rally voters in Chicago to support Democrats
CHICAGO (AP) — Former President Barack Obama will be in Chicago to urge voters to turn out for governor candidate J.B. Pritzker and other Democrats.
Obama is holding a get-out-the-vote rally Sunday afternoon at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He'll encourage people to vote on Tuesday and to support the Democratic ticket.
Pritzker is trying to unseat Republican Gov. Bruce Rauner. Also expected at the event are attorney general candidate and state Sen. Kwame Raoul and congressional candidates Lauren Underwood and Sean Casten.
Raoul faces Republican Erika Harold. Casten is challenging GOP Rep. Peter Roskam and Underwood is up against Rep. Randy Hultgren.
