CBOE: 3Q Earnings Snapshot
CHICAGO (AP) _ CBOE Holdings Inc. (CBOE) on Friday reported third-quarter profit of $85 million.
The Chicago-based company said it had profit of 76 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were $1.06 per share.
The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.01 per share.
The holding company for the Chicago Board Options Exchange posted revenue of $575.9 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $270.5 million, which missed Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $271.7 million.
