Rudolph Technologies: 3Q Earnings Snapshot
WILMINGTON, Mass. (AP) _ Rudolph Technologies Inc. (RTEC) on Thursday reported third-quarter net income of $7.2 million.
On a per-share basis, the Wilmington, Massachusetts-based company said it had profit of 22 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 26 cents per share.
The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 23 cents per share.
The maker of equipment to help chip manufacturers test for defects posted revenue of $60.4 million in the period, which also beat Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $60 million.
