Man accused of shooting 2 brothers in southeast Nebraska
HEBRON, Neb. (AP) — Authorities have arrested a suspect in the fatal shooting of one man and the wounding of the man's brother in southeast Nebraska.
Thayer County sheriff's deputies sent early Saturday to a Hebron home found the pair.
The Thayer County Sheriff's Office says the younger brother was pronounced dead later at Thayer County Health Services. The Nebraska State Patrol identified him as 28-year-old Remington Elting, of Davenport.
The wounded older brother was flown to a Lincoln hospital. He's been identified as 33-year-old Reuben Elting, also of Davenport.
The suspect is a 21-year-old Hebron man. Court records don't yet show that he's been formally charged.
