Officials identify 4-year-old Montana homicide victim
BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) — Officials in southern Montana have released the name of a 4-year-old girl who died after reportedly being physically abused.
Big Horn County officials say Remington Boyd died on June 18 at a Billings hospital, hours after being brought to the hospital in Hardin.
Bridger Boyd of Busby was charged Wednesday with deliberate homicide and aggravated assault. He remains jailed with his bail set at $1 million. He is scheduled to enter a plea Tuesday in District Court in Hardin.
Court records say Jennifer Boyd initially said the girl fell out of a bunk bed but later told investigators she saw her husband slam her head against a wall.
