Tim Pastore Steps Down as Nat Geo President of Original Programming
Tim Pastore is stepping down from his post as President of Original Programming and Production at National Geographic Channel, CEO Courteney Monroe announced in a note to staff Wednesday.
“It goes without saying that Tim was an instrumental part of our transformation, and I will be forever grateful to Tim and his team for dedicating themselves to our new programming vision,” Monroe wrote. “I want to wish Tim all the best in his new pursuits, and I take him at his word that our paths will cross again, hopefully in the very near future!”
Pastore also sent a message to Nat Geo employees, saying he’s exiting the company to “pursue new opportunities,” with June 1 set as his final day at the digital cable and satellite TV network.
