Correction: Railroad Crossing Deaths story
EATON, Colo. (AP) — In a story Feb. 7 about the death of a Colorado teen at a railroad crossing in Eaton, The Associated Press reported erroneously that the Colorado Public Utilities Commission had approved a project to install gates at the crossing according to the town manager. Utilities commission spokesman Terry Bote said state and Union Pacific officials are studying safety improvements in the area, but the commission has not received an application yet for any project for the crossing.
