SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — The Latest on a man killed by police in a confrontation that left two officers injured (all times local):

Salt Lake City Police Chief Mike Brown is identifying a man killed by police in a "violent" struggle that left two officers injured.
Brown said Friday that 39-year-old Michael Bruce Peterson was suspected of going into a downtown salon and grabbing a woman working there.
Brown said someone at the salon called 911 and officers found Peterson in the parking lot of a nearby gas station. Two officers were hurt in the subsequent confrontation that also included attempts to subdue him with a Taser and a baton.
