Authorities: Person fatally struck by SEPTA train
HAVERTOWN, Pa. (AP) — Authorities say a person was hit and killed by a Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority train in suburban Philadelphia.
The Philadelphia Inquirer reports (http://bit.ly/1mkhHdA ) the accident was reported at about 10:40 p.m. Wednesday near the Ardmore Junction Station in Haverford Township. Officials say the person was hit by a Norristown High Speed Line train.
Service on the Norristown line was suspended following the crash.
Authorities didn't immediately identify the victim.
