From quarterback to wide receiver, Seahawks’ Daniels trying to beat the odds and make the 53-man roster
RENTON — Dave Canales has to think back to his playing career, but he can relate better than most to what quarterback-turned-receiver B.J. Daniels is going through. The Seahawks first-year wide receivers coach was a quarterback at Carson High School in south Los Angeles before moving to wide receiver when he went on to Azusa Pacific University. Daniels was a full-time quarterback until last season, when the Seahawks made him a scout-team utility man.
