2 men injured in personal watercraft crash at Jersey Shore
RUMSON, N.J. (AP) — Two men were injured when the personal watercraft they were on crashed in the Navesink River.
Rumson police tell the Asbury Park Press (http://on.app.com/1eL65vf) that the accident occurred around noon Saturday in the Jersey Shore community.
They say the driver hit a wake, lost control and bounced off the vessel. The driver suffered facial injuries and head trauma, while the passenger suffered a cut to his leg.
Both men were taken to a hospital for treatment. Their injuries were not considered serious, but further details on their conditions were not disclosed.
The names of the injured men were not released.
