Nothing like a relaxing dip in a pool of filth water.
The town of Uppsala, Sweden saw heavy rain over the weekend leading to the local subway station being completely flooded. Instead of locking the gates and trying to let it all dry out, citizens had another idea.
Citizens immediately began changing into their swimsuits, grabbing their inner tubes and turning the platform into the town swimming pool. Security tried to shut it down on account of it being extremely dangerous (it turns out mixing water and electricity is bad) but people had their fun while they could.
Just people living their best lives in filth water. Sarah Thoren, who shot the above video told The Local about the experience.
“I wouldn’t say it was the freshest water I’ve ever bathed in, so I had to have a real scrub in the shower afterwards.”
After a back-and-forth between the department of transportation and the city the water was finally pumped out of Uppsala station. It got the SB Nation staff wondering if this could happen here.
