50 000 for freedom-Beselia has claims against Aleko Elisashvili
The prosecutor"s office could launch another investigation on the prisoners` pardon case. This time the author of the statement, Eka Beselia, accused the former chairperson of Pardon Commission, Aleko Elisashvili, of corrupt deal.
She claimed that she had learned about the crime from the prisoner"s letter, where the lawyer was asked to pay 50 thousand for a positive recommendation for a convicted.
"The prisoner wrote directly that Aleko Elisashvili asked 50 thousand from his lawyer to write a positive recommendation. Besides, there are two other facts, which also contains the elements of a crime, they talk about a suspicious deal, although there is no specific amount of money indicated, but the prisoners say that they knew in advance about the decision, "- Beselia said.
"Unlike Beselia , I don`t see dollars when I look at prisoners," - Aleko Elisashvili responded to the new allegations of the Human Rights Committee Chairperson Eka Beselia
