Accomplice to Yuri Vazagashvili’s murder is searched for in the U.S. and France
The prosecutor"s office confirmed that the accused in the murder of Yuri Vazagashvili is searched for the United States and France. As the prosecutor Lasha Tskhvitaria has stated the Prosecutor"s Office of Georgia has already issued a request to both countries for assistance in the investigation. In particular, the prosecutor said that search efforts were launched for a person whose DNA was discovered at the crime site.
In addition, investigation has revealed that Gia Sosanashvili, a person who is accused of Yuri Vazagashvili’s murder, made phone calls to the United States and France shortly before the murder took place. Investigators have already questioned all persons contacted by Sosanashvili throughout Georgia.
Gia Sosanashvili`s lawyer, Soso Joglidze says that several days after the murder the prosecutor"s office already knew whom Gia Sosanashvili had called and these were Gia Sosanashvili s friends Zaza Simonishvili and Givi Silagadze. Accordingly, the lawyer does not understand who the Prosecutor"s Office are looking for outside the country.
