I’ve been impressed with young Danny Walker over the last couple of weeks, does the simple things well and gets stuck on with the tackles. Good interchange with Darren Clarke. Looks a lot fitter and bulked up this year, interested what other peoples views of him?

As Covid 19 is still very much an on going nightmare and it was the cause (possibly other factors involved) to there withdrawal from SL, have the proposed new owners factored in how they will manage if restrictions are still in place or that the world gets put on hold due to a second, third or just a continuance of Covid 19.

If as rumoured we are waiting for better form before announcing Shaul and Houghtons new contracts, they are gonna run out of time! Shaul, sneyd, Connor (if he insists on playing 6) need to go. A new spine needed. Still think Houghton can do a job off the bench

he's sorted out fitness and defence ....get those right, your attack should follow suit if you have good players in key positions...and we have.

To me it's significant that a lot of discussion on here is about our defence, probably shows how woeful our attack is and that we're actually having to defend so much! Attack is the best form of defence they say - I wish I could see light at the end of the tunnel but without that onfield genera, we all seem to realise we need, I can't see where improvement is coming from.,

I'm hoping our returnees will only have a positive effect. Most of them are in the forwards and will provide extra momentum and freshness without disrupting the attack too much.

I'm hoping we don't change wholesale in attempting to accomodate all the returnees; Hill, Clarke & Philbin will give us much needed energy but Walker, for example, deserves to remain in the 17.
