Very good post and agree with most of what you say. I’m not saying Newman is no good in the centre but he does need to learn how to pass and when to pass to his winger.
I think if we were to sign a good pacy and strong centre then Newman would learn from him.
Just my opinion and I am sure people will have their own which I will respect.

Rovers have a huge task in 2020 to avoid relegation IMO.

We know that teams like Hull, Huddersfield and Toronto are spending way over the cap and actually most of the league are too (not cheating but with the various dispensations). Rovers meanwhile in the words of Neil Hudgell 'are well under the cap'.

I'd say that most clubs have a wage bill of half a million more than Rovers. Wakefield are spending maximum cap so there's only Salford..possibly....at rock bottom spend like Rovers. Читать дальше...

It's been revealed that Leeds Rhinos legend has Motor Neurone disease. There's an article on tv now about it with an interview with Rob which is heart breaking. It puts things into perspective. All the best Rob.

Jesus. Yes that really does put things in perspective, as has the recent loss of Featherstone player Natalie Harrowell a few days ago. The 12th January friendly at Leeds is now a joint fundraiser for Rob Burrow and Jamie Jones-Buchanan.

Burrow was a cracking RL player and despite being small in stature, he had the heart of a lion never gave less than 100%.
One can only hope that the illness takes hold slowly and he's got some good years in front of him and it's brave of him to go public.
