They are probably in a good position to judge whether the team and club has improved from how they were under prove- and he hasn’t even had a preseason with the squad yet.

Don’t think we’ll see Currie @ 13 in the modern game. I think BMM & Currie in the back row with Hughes at 13 is our best bet. Davis can play off the bench to spell Hughes and Clark.

If he has a dodgy shoulder we’d find out at the medical. If he passed and then broke down he’s insured. We lose nothing other than a player to injury.

Shame we didn't take a punt on him when he first became available although there'd of been plenty, me included probably, who'd have been in the "do we really need another player with baggage coming to the club" gang.
Hastings and Williams could have been something special but fair play to Hastings and Salford for getting his career back on track.

Now that SL has almost finished it's almost time to look forward to the internationals. I dont think GB/England have ever had a better chance of winning something with the players we have avaiable especially with Austin, Hastings and Coote available for selection. What would your squad be? I think we have some great forwards but Hill would miss out for me.
