Good point re them wanting him permanently to reduce their number of loan players. There has to be some sort of benefit to Fev cos at the moment they’ve not signed him for any longer than they had anyway

Was brilliant last night @ Kirmo's do, brilliant banter, clogger was excellant, I had no idea his humour & manner was brilliant. I am so grateful to Kirmo who said his best achievement was seeing Wakefield to its current position of security from the position of was in when he was made captain & decided to stay, he is so proud now !

It's May and players might be on the move. On the basis we are in SL next year (not a given yet, but gotta start somewhere), here's a few thoughts.

Chris Atkin - would like him to stay but Sheens not using him the right way this season so good chance of losing him.

Mags - let him retire, no point squeezing another year out of him

Drinkwater - improved but not 100% convinced. Might be worth it for stability.

It's been reported in League Express that Ethan Ryan has been one of the most saught after players since the transfer window opened with Hull KR the frontrunners to sign him.
If he does go then we'll definately need a new full back and possibly a winger too. I personally would concentrate on getting as good a fullback as we could afford. The wingers we have seem good enough for this level (especially Hitchcox when fit) and we wouldn't be able to sign one as good as Ryan anyway.
