PM’s popularity plunges as Labor retains narrow lead: Newspoll
Malcolm Turnbull’s popularity as preferred Prime Minister has plunged as Labor retains its slim lead 51-49 over the Coalition on two-party preferred terms in the latest Newspoll. Satisfaction with Malcolm Turnbull has dropped 19 points; however, he still is still considered the better Prime Minister leading Bill Shorten 44-32 per cent.
