The UFC needs to ban alcohol consumption prior and during post fight press conferences.
This is Captain Obvious speaking. The UFC needs to ban alcohol consumption prior to and during post fight press conferences.
This has been an irritant on mine with Donald Cerrone. Now steps up Michael Bisping on the same issue.
Let's have some class here. I don't want to see liquid courage at a post fight press conference. It's unprofessional at the very least.
So you have Michael Bisping acting bizarre, but was it the alcohol? I guess we won't know. We can only speculate. Based on what came out of his mouth, I'm going to say that he was under the influence. (possibly more on that in a second fan post)
Cerrone doesn't enjoy doing media. I've noticed beer in hand during a fan Q&A session and at pretty much every post fight press conference that he does. So we are seeing and listening to a guy who is half cut? Who is the real Donald? I guess we won't know if we just watch post fight press conferences.
The Bisping post fight presser from this past week was pathetic. He behavior was disgusting. He was lucky, and I mean lucky that the UFC is fringe. He wants to run his mouth and say certain words or phrases in public? Well in the NHL that might just cost you a couple game suspension. Playoff games no less.
The UFC needs to step in because they dodged a bullet that most likely was alcohol induced. Drink afterwards please. Do whatever you want. But when you are on public display, consider what professional conduct looks like. It wasn't Bisping I can say that much.
