Debut: Participated in Armenian Championship for the first time in 2010. Held 4 fights and took the 2nd place.
Start of career: Began training at Vladimir Yengibaryan sport school in 2001.
Choice of sports: Aram chose boxing thanks to his father and achieved success step by step. “I didn’t care for boxing, but it seemed more and more attractive with my every victory. I began studying it, discovered a lot for myself.”
The most important achievement: Every win is a great achievement for an athlete, be that an ordinary tournament, European or World championship. You’re just happy to have more and more achievements.
Idol: Roy Jones, even though he left sports a long time ago. Then he was replaced by Floyd Mayweather, who finished his career as well.

Pre-performance routine: Talks to parents on phone when in a hotel. Listens to music on headphones, worn in his characteristic lopsided manner, and focuses on the way to the place of competition. Always prays before going into the ring.
