Poe secures TROs

Luci The Supreme Court (SC) issued yesterday afternoon two temporary restraining orders (TROs) stopping the Commission on Elections (Comelec) from enforcing its disqualification of Senator Grace Poe from the presidential race next year. SC Spokesman Theodore O. Te said the TROs were issued by Chief Justice Maria Lourdes P. A. Sereno on recommendations made by the justices to whom Poe’s petitions were raffled to yesterday.
