AT&T had close relationship with NSA, report says
Newly disclosed documents show that the relationship between the National Security Agency and AT&T has been considered unique and especially productive, The New York Times reported, citing documents provided to it by the whistleblower Edward Snowden. One document described it as "highly collaborative," while another lauded the company's "extreme willingness to help," the report said. AT&T's cooperation has involved a broad range of classified activities, according to the documents, which date from 2003 to 2013, the report said. AT&T installed "far more" surveillance hubs than rival Verizon , the report added.
